The hotel at the conference said it was internet-ready and had wireless. This involved phone lines (I kicked aside all my landline internet access 18 months ago) and the wireless was in the lobby, which was packed with economists (not a pretty sight!) It certainly was not accessible from my room on the 25th floor. Since I was interviewing 25 people in two days for a position here, there was no way to get to blog -- and I'm too cheap to blog for $10 from the Starbucks across the street yesterday.

I've got a load of post-conference things to do today plus a flooded basement bathroom at home. Back this PM.
