Student paper helps faculty newsletter
David Beito notes that the Alabama Scholars Association has received some support for its troubles in getting its newsletter circulated at the University of Alabama -- the student newspaper has come to their aid.
We are free to opine and criticize to our heart's content, and we want to preserve the right for as many people that want to speak out. Beito is an important check on the power of the University because we, as students, have a hard time finding out what goes on behind the white curtain of the President's Mansion.The battle continues there with FIRE's support.
