News that somehow misses the papers 

Regional retail gasoline prices, down to the lowest level in a month. Last week's This Week In Petroleum points out that for a 500-mile trip, a 75 cent-per-gallon difference in the price of gas if you drive a car getting 20 mpg is $18.75.
