Another shot across the bow of Middle Eastern studies 

Inside Higher Ed reports that by the end of a meeting of the US Commission on Civil Rights, the commission passed on a 4-1 vote a recommendation that the Office of Civil Rights ...
should protect college students from anti-Semitic and other discriminatory harassment by vigorously enforcing Title VI.� The commission also found that �many university departments of Middle East studies provide one-sided, highly polemical academic presentations� concerning debate about Israel.
According to the Chronicle of Higher Ed, the recommendations also "called on university leaders to denounce hate speech on their campuses and to ensure that all academic units, including departments of Middle East studies, 'respect intellectual diversity.'" The words "cold day" and "Hell" come to mind...
